Your device meets all requirements and conditions for the legal re-
gulations applicable in the country concerned. For Germany, an insu-
rance obligation applies in particular.
In order for your e-scooter to be insured in Germany, it requires an
operating permit (ABE). A type approval is only enclosed with the pro-
duct, which was purchased in Germany. It is not possible to apply
for a type approval (ABE) for a VMAX e-scooter purchased outside
Germany.
E-scooters are subject to the rules of the public road traffic in force in
the country concerned, which must be complied with.
Road approval Switzerland / Germany
Special registration-related instructions Switzerland:
• From 14 years with driver‘s license category M
• From 16 years without driver‘s license
• No license plate obligation
Special registration-related instructions Germany:
• From 14 years without driver‘s license
• Operating permit scooter (ABE)
• Compulsory insurance (sticker must be attached)
For other road approvals, please refer to the regulations in force in
your country.
