8. MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
• The product does not require maintenance. There are no pro-
duct components which have to be maintained. For this reason,
never open/dismantle it (except for inserting or replacing the
batteries, as described in these operating instructions).
Maintenance or repair work may be performed only by qualied
personnel or a specialised repair shop.
• Before cleaning, disconnect the measuring device from the
mains voltage and unplug the mains plug from the mains socket.
Disconnect a consumer connected to the measuring device.
• To clean the product, a clean, dry and soft cloth is sufcient.
• Dust can be easily removed using a clean, soft and long-bristled
brush and a vacuum cleaner.
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol
or other chemical solutions, which may damage the
casing or even impair operation.
