7. FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION
• The laboratory power unit works with highly developed combinational circuit technology and active PFC (power
factor correction). This ensures a stable output voltage and a high degree of effectiveness. The DC outputs are
isolated and feature a protective isolation against the mains voltage. For the secondary DC connection, there
are two coloured safety sockets on the front (max. 5A) and two high-load terminal screw clamps on the back (full
nominal current range).
• The structured display shows the voltage and current (V = Volt = unit of electric voltage, A = Ampere = unit of
electric current) and the status display in case of device interferences.
• Various protective mechanisms, e.g. overload protection, current limitation, overheating protection, etc. are built in
for secure and reliable operation.
