Apart from the current measurement function, the device also has the traditional
functions of a multimeter such as voltage, resistance, capacity and temperature
measurement function.
The VC-530 is suitable for alternating current measurements of up to 1000 A
The VC-531 is suitable for direct and alternating current measurements of up to
1000 A.
Rotary switch (5)
The individual measuring functions are selected using a rotary switch for which
„auto range“, the automatic range selection, is active. The appropriate range of
measurement is set for each application individually.
With the „MODE“ (7) key, you can switch to a sub-function if the measurement
function is occupied twice (e.g. switching of resistance measurement diode test and
continuity check (VC-531 only) or AC/DC switching in the voltage area).
If the rotary switch is set to „OFF“, the measuring device is switched off. Always turn
the measuring device off when it is not in use.
Prior to working with the measuring device, you have to insert the enclosed batter-
ies.
Insert the batteries as described in the chapter „Cleaning and Maintenance“. A 9V
block battery is required for voltage supply. These are supplied with the device.
