Fuel system, bleeding
The fuel system must be purged after a filter change,
if the fuel tank has been run dry and after a long-term
stoppage.
1 Open the purge screw (1) on the fuel filter console
approx. three turns. Avoid fuel spills; use rags to
soak up fuel at the purging point.
2 Pump fuel up with the hand pump (2) until fuel
without air bubbles can be seen. Continue pumping
and tighten the purging screw at the same time.
3 Start the engine and check for leaks.
Fuel pre-filter
The fuel pre-filter is an optional extra.

before draining the filter.

and contaminants using the cock/plug at the bottom of
the filter bowl.
