Operation
Learn to handle the engine, controls and other equipment in a safe and proper manner before casting off on your
maiden voyage. Remember to avoid sudden and extreme rudder maneuvers and gear shifts. There is a risk for
passengers and crew falling over or falling overboard.
WARNING!
A rotating propeller can cause serious injury. Check that nobody is in the water before engaging ahead or astern.
Never drive near bathers or in areas where people could be in the water.
NOTICE! The handle on the oil drain pump must not
be mounted during operation.
Reading the Instruments
Read off the instruments and alarm display
immediately after start, and then regularly during
operation.
Oil Pressure
When the engine is warm and idles slowly the oil
pressure gauge should show a reading of minimum 80
kPa (11.6 psi).
The acoustic alarm will sound automatically in case of
low oil pressure.
Coolant Temperature
During operation, the temperature gauge should show
a reading of maximum 100°C (212°F).
The acoustic alarm will sound automatically in case the
coolant temperature is too high.
Battery Charging
During operation, the charge voltage gauge should
show a reading of 28 V or 14 V for a 24 respectively 12
V system.
The acoustic alarm will sound automatically in case the
charge voltage is missing..
