Joystick
The Volvo Penta Joystick is a control used for docking
and maneuvering at low speed.
Learn to use the joystick and its functions in a safe
and proper manner before beginning to use the func-
tion in confined marinas.
Maneuvering with the joystick
The boat is maneuvered by moving the joystick for-
ward, aft,
abeam or by twisting the top of the joystick;
see illustration..
IMPORTANT!
The boat will continue to move in the selected direc-
tion even when the joystick has been released; com-
pensate for this by moving the joystick in the opposite
direction.
