Daily inspection of the bus
Doors
Check that all doors open and close
properly. Ensure that the doors' sensitive
edge protection as well as the
emergency opening valves are in
working order.
Destination sign
Check that the signs are in working order
and show accurate destination data.
Wheelchair lift
Check the general appearance of the lift
and that fasteners are tight. Ensure that
the lift is in working order, and there are
no unusual noises or movements when
operating the lift.
Once every week, perform all lift
movements several times with the
control unit. The movements should be
smooth and without unusual noises. This
is especially important when the lift is not
used on a regular basis.
Toilet
• Check the general condition of the
toilet
• Make sure the toilet is clean and
check/refill soap, toilet paper and
paper towels as often as necessary
• Check the toilet equipment
• Check the flushing function and tap.
If possible, check the water levels in
the tanks
• Check the toilet light
Fire supression system
Make sure that the alarm lamp indicating
low pressure in the fire supression
containers is not illuminated in the driver
information display. Check the pressure
of each extinguisher container before
each working day.
