Starting
All lamps and gauge LEDs are lit for
approx. 5 s.
NOTE
Do not start the engine until the test is
completed and the control lamp for active
intake air heater has gone out.
Start the engine.
Symbols after start
After starting, the stop lamp in the
instrument cluster illuminates. The
symbol for poor brake performance
shows in the driver information display.
They are displayed until the brake
pressure has risen to its normal level
(5.6 bar).
CAUTION
Never rev a cold engine. A cold engine
must not be run faster than 1000 rpm.
Exhaust after treatment
The bus is equipped with selective
catalytic reduction (SCR), see Selective
catalytic reduction page 128.
