Air distribution
The incoming air is filtered to remove
particles, and then distributed through
the various nozzles.
Always keep the ventilation nozzles on
the instrument panel open. Regardless
of how the air distribution is set, a small
amount of air from the nozzles keeps the
temperature distribution optimal.
CAUTION
It is not allowed to install an air cleaner of
the type O3 Air cleaner in the bus. Such a
device can affect the ventilation of the
climate control system. It can also damage
plastic surfaces and seals on the
instrument panel.
NOTE
• Do not cover the ventilation nozzles
with clothing or similar.
• Do not install optional equipment or
accessories so that any of the
ventilation nozzles is blocked.
If done, a good ventilation function cannot
be guaranteed!
Adjusting air distribution
The air distribution knob in the driver's
compartment can be set to the following
positions:
1 Windows (defrost)
2 Windows
3 Driver / Feet compartment air
4 Feet compartment air
In cold weather, it is recommended for
the air to be distributed to the windows
and floor. Air distribution to the windows
improves the defrost mode, which
removes ice and mist from the windows.
In warm weather, ventilation mode is
recommended.
NOTE
While the defroster option is on, hot air is
blown in regardless of the setting of the
knob (1).
Settings
Setting the desired
temperature
You control the climate inside the bus
with the climate control panel.
• Increase or decrease the
temperature with the knob.
• Start the fan and adjust the fan
speed with the fan knob.
• Select how the air is to be distributed
between windows, ventilation and
floor, depending on the weather
conditions.
• Start the air conditioning (AC) as
required (backlit button indicates that
the air conditioning is switched on).
The AUTO function regulates fan speed
and the AC function automatically, so
that the selected temperature is reached.
