Fuel level warning
Fault indication
Tachometer:
The tachometer LCD screen will show a flashing
warning icon + buzzer sound.
Alarm display:
The fuel level indication flashes in the alarm display +
buzzer sound.
Cable description
A fuel level sensor can be connected to the MDI , 3-
180 ohm. The MDI supplies the fuel level sensor with
a reference voltage of +5 Volt.
Fault tracing
Fault conditions
The fuel level is 20% or less for more than 60 sec-
onds.
Possible reason
• The fuel level is too low.
• Fault in the fuel level sensor wiring.
Suitable action
1. Check the fuel level.
2. Check all wiring and connectors between the fuel
level sensor and the MDI.
