Cab
The cab has a heating and ventilation system with
defrosting from front and rear windows and also air
conditioning. The cab has one emergency exit, the
rear window.
ROPS
The cab is approved as a part of protective structure
according to ROPS standard (ISO12117-2). ROPS
is an abbreviation of Roll Over Protective Structure.
Never carry out any unauthorized alterations to the
cab, for example lowering the roof height, drilling,
welding on brackets for fire extinguisher, radio
aerial or other equipment, without first having
discussed the alteration with personnel at the Volvo
Engineering Department. This department will
decide whether the alteration may cause the
approval to become void.
It is important that all parties concerned are aware
of these regulations.
