Recommended lubricants
The Volvo lubricants have been specially developed to fulfil the demanding operating
conditions, in which Volvo excavators are used in. The oils have been tested according
to
Volvo excavator specifications and therefore meet the high requirements for safety and
quality. Other mineral oils can be used if they conform to our viscosity recommendations
and meet our quality requirements. The approval of Volvo is required, if any other oil base
quality (for example biologically degradable oil) is to be used.
