Settings
Handset settings
Handset ringer volume
Using this menu, you can set the ringer volume level (1-6), or turn the ringer off. When the ringer is turned off, the <RINGER
OFF> icon flashes on the handset screen. You can select the ringer volume for the incoming home and mobile line calls.
1. Press MENU/SELECT then UP/DOWN to select Audio.
2. Press MENU/SELECT then UP/DOWN to select Ringer volume.
3. Press MENU/SELECT then UP/DOWN to select Home, Mobile 1, Mobile 2 or Home & mobile
4. Press MENU/SELECT to confirm. Then UP/DOWN to browse each volume level. A sample of each ringer volume plays as you
scroll through the choices. Level 1 to 6 and Ringer Off are available.
5. Press MENU/SELECT to save.
Note: Press END CALL/CLEAR to return to the previous level. Press and hold END CALL/CLEAR to return to idle mode.
Ringer tone
You can select different ringer tones for home and mobile line calls.
1. Press MENU/SELECT then UP/DOWN to select Audio.
2. Press MENU/SELECT then UP/DOWN to select Ringer tone.
3. Press MENU/SELECT then UP/DOWN to select Home, Mobile 1, Mobile 2.
4. Press MENU/SELECT to confirm. Then press UP/DOWN to browse each ringer tone. A sample of each ringer tone plays as
you scroll through the choices.
5. Press MENU/SELECT to save.
Note: If you turn off the ringer volume, you do not hear ringer tone samples.
Alert tones (Key tone, Low battery and No coverage)
You can turn on or off the alert tones of key press, battery low and out of range.
1. In standby mode, press MENU/SELECT then UP/DOWN to select Audio.
2. Press MENU/SELECT then UP/DOWN to select Key tone, low battery or No coverage.
3. Press MENU/SELECT then UP/DOWN to select On or Off.
4. Press MENU/SELECT to confirm. Turn on or off the selected alert tone.
Set date and time
Date format
1. In standby mode, press MENU/SELECT then UP/DOWN to select Settings.
2. Press MENU/SELECT then UP/DOWN to select Date format.
3. Press MENU/SELECT then UP/DOWN to select date format DD/MM/YY or MM/DD/YY.
4. Press MENU/SELECT to save.
Time format
1. In standby mode, press MENU/SELECT then UP/DOWN to select Settings.
2. Press MENU/SELECT then UP/DOWN to select Time format.
3. Press MENU/SELECT then UP/DOWN to select date format 12 - Hour or 24 - Hour.
4. Press MENU/SELECT to save.
Set date and time manually
1. In standby mode, press MENU/SELECT then UP/DOWN to select Settings.
2. Press MENU/SELECT then UP/DOWN to select Set date/time.
3. Press MENU/SELECT then use the keypad to enter the date according to DD/MM/YY or MM/DD/YY format.
4. Press MENU/SELECT then use the keypad to enter the time according to 12-Hour or 24-Hour format.
5. Press MENU/SELECT to save the settings.
Auto answer
1. In standby mode, press MENU/SELECT then UP/DOWN to select Settings.
2. Press MENU/SELECT then UP/DOWN to select Auto answer.
3. Press MENU/SELECT then UP/DOWN to select On or Off.
4. Press MENU/SELECT to confirm.
Note: As long as you have auto answer set to ON you can answer a call by lifting the handset off the base. If you have
switched auto answer off, you will need to press 0 when you lift up the handset. The default setting of Auto Answer is ON.
