Edit a phonebook entry
Search for the desired entry in the phonebook (see Review phonebook entries
or Alphabetical search on page 20).
When the desired entry displays, press
.
Press
again to choose Edit contact.
The base unit displays EDIT NUMBER. Use the dialing keys to edit the number.
Press
or to move the cursor to the left or right.
Press and hold
to insert a dialing pause (a p appears).
Press
to erase a digit.
Press and hold
to erase all digits.
5. Press
. The base unit displays EDIT NAME. Use the dialing keys to edit
the name.
Press
or to move the cursor to the left or right.
Press
to add a space.
Press
to erase a character.
Press and hold
to erase all characters.
Press
to change the next letter to upper or lower case.
6. Press
to save the entry. The base unit displays Saved and then the revised
entry. You hear a confirmation tone.
Delete a phonebook entry
Search for the desired entry in the phonebook (see Review phonebook entries or
Alphabetical search on page 20).
When the desired entry displays, press
.
Press
or to scroll to Delete, and then press . The base unit displays
Delete contact?
Press
to confirm. The base unit displays Contact deleted, and then returns
to the phonebook list. You hear a confirmation tone.
