Installing the spark plug
1. First screw in the spark plug manually then tighten it with a spark plug
wrench.
Torque 22 Nm (16 lbf ft).
2. Place the spark plug cap onto the spark plug.
11.4.6 Checking the tool holder for wear
1. Insert the tool.
Note: Use a new tool to measure only the wear of the tool holder and not the
wear of the tool.
2. Measure the tool play 200 mm (0.66 ft) from insertion point.
Play may not exceed 6 mm (0.05 ft).
If the play exceeds 6 mm, the tool holder must be replaced.
NOTICE
A spark plug that is too loose or too tight can damage the engine.
f Tighten the spark plugs with the specified torque.
