Operation
Electric starter
Turn the starting key to position 1
Turn and hold the starting key in position 2 until the indicator light for glow plug preheat-
ing C goes out
Turn and hold the starting key in position 3 until the engine starts
If the engine does not start after 5 seconds:
Stop starting the engine and try again after 10 seconds
If the engine still does not start after the second try:
Contact a Wacker Neuson service center for troubleshooting
As soon as the engine runs:
Release the starting key.
Notice!
Do not actuate the electric starter for more than 5 seconds.
Starting at low temperatures
When the engine runs smoothly (increased engine speed):
Notice!
In general, a battery delivers less energy in cold conditions. Therefore ensure that
the battery is always well charged.
When the engine has started
Check whether all indicator lights have gone out:
Let the engine run warm
At cold temperatures:
Increase the engine speed slowly
Do not run the engine at full load until it has reached its operating temperature
