Operation
Tying down the machine
The machine must be loaded and transported properly –
Accident hazard!
☞It is essential that you read the safety instructions at the beginning of this
chapter and follow any other safety instructions relevant in your country!
☞Ensure that the authorized maximum height is not exceeded
☞Secure the tracks of the dumper on the sides.
☞Lower the skip and the loader unit.
☞Firmly fasten the dumper onto the platform. To this end, use straps and chains of suffi-
cient size to pass the cables through the lugs provided.
☞Protect the engine with a simple cover before transporting the machine through heavy
rain.
☞Ensure that the operator of the transport vehicle knows the overall height, overall width
and overall weight of the vehicle (including the dumper) as well as the applicable statu-
tory provisions for this type of transport in the country in which the transport is occurring
before driving! Tie down the machine.
