3.20.7 After engine starts, allow it to warm up for a few minutes and check
readouts on LCD panel. The “TIME TO SERVICE” interval will be
displayed. Make sure battery charging system, oil pressure and engine
temperature readings are within normal ranges.
3.20.8 Check that AC voltage is correct. Voltage can be fine-adjusted by
turning the voltage adjustment rheostat (b) on the metering panel.
3.20.9 Check frequency. Under no-load conditions, frequency should read
around 61.5 Hz, dropping to near 60 Hz as the generator load is
switched on.
