Trouble Shooting
Trouble Possible Reasons What To Do
The standby LED is not lit.
Adaptor cable is not
connected.
Check if the adaptor cable is plugged
into the power socket.
No picture or sound. No signal or weak signal.
Check the aerial and video
connections (AV/HDMI).
Changes in the settings have
not taken effect.
The digital set-top box
was unplugged without
first switching into standby
mode.
Make sure that the box is in standby
mode before unplugging it from the
mains.
The remote control is not
working.
The set-top box is in
standby.
Remote control is
incorrectly aimed.
Batteries are exhausted.
Press the standby button.
Check if nothing blocks the front
panel.
Replace the batteries with new ones.
You have forgotten the PIN. Contact your dealer or service.
There's no sound from the HDMI
output.
HDMI line is crashed.
Unplug and plug the TV and the box
at the same time.
Recording Unavailable USB disk is not recognized.
To record a programme, you should
first connect a USB disk to your box.
Otherwise, recording feature will not
be available. If you cannot perform
recording, perform power cycle on the
set-top-box and try re-inserting the
USB disk.
