Emissioni di materie / so-
stanze pericolose
Nel caso di interventi sia ordinari
che straordinari di manutenzio-
ne, pulizia o rimozione del devia-
tore, è da prevedersi l’esposi-
zione ed il contatto con il mate-
riale di processo. In particolare,
qualora le guarnizioni gonfiabili
dovessero avere un malfunzio-
namento (dovuto ad usura o rot-
tura) è possibile trovare mate-
riale anche all’interno del corpo
deviatore. L’operatore deve do-
tarsi di idonei dispositivi di prote-
zione individuale ed in particola-
re deve utilizzare maschere a
protezione delle vie respiratorie
di classe idonea in base al tipo di
polvere utilizzata nonché di guan-
ti o indumenti.

E’ compito dell’installatore
prevedere opportuna cartel-
lonistica che segnali agli

stopped if there are noises or
vibrations considered as abnor-
mal (ref. VAR Manual Chap.2
Sect.”WARNINGS”).
Emissions of hazardous
matter/substances
In case of routine and extraordi-
nary maintenance operations,
cleaning or removal of the divert-
er valve, there is possibility of
exposure and contact with the
process material. Particularly, if
the inflatable seals were to have
a problem (due to wear or break-
age) material may also be present
inside the diverter valve body.
The operator must use suitable
personal protection equipment,
in particular, masks for protect-
ing the respiratory tract belong-
ing to the appropriate class de-
pending on the type of dusts
handled, besides gloves or
clothing.

It is the installer’s responsi-
bility to provide the neces-
sary warning notices indicat-
ing that it is compulsory for
the operators to use the
P.P.E. necessary and the po-
tential presence of harmful
substances.

Emissionen von gefährlichen
Materialien / Schadstoffen
Bei der Ausführung sowohl lau-
fender als auch außerordentli-
cher W artungsarbeiten, bei Rei-
nigungen oder dem Ausbau der
Rohrweiche sind die Exposition
und der Kontakt mit Prozessma-
terial vorzusehen. Insbesondere
bei einer Betriebsstörung der
aufblasbaren Dichtungen (infol-
ge Verschleiß oder Bruch) ist es
möglich, dass man das Material
auch innerhalb des Weichenge-
häuses vorfindet. Der Bediener
muss sich mit persönlichen
Schutzausrüstungen ausrüsten
und insbesondere Masken zum
Schutz der Atemwege der Klas-
se benutzen, die sich für den
behandelten Staubtyp eignet,
aber auch Handschuhe oder
Schutzkleidung.
Für weitere Einzelheiten wird
auf die entsprechenden Ab-
schnitte der Betriebsanleitung
verwiesen (Handbuch VAR, Kap
2, Abs. „HINWEISE” und „WAR-
TUNG”).
Es ist Aufgabe des Installa-
teurs, für die entsprechen-
de Beschilderung zu sor-
gen, die den Bedienern die
Verpflichtung zur Benutzung
der erforderlichen PSA und
das eventuelle Vorhandens-
ein von Schadstoffen mel-
det.

Dans le cas d’interventions tant
ordinaires qu’extraordinaires
d’entretien, nettoyage ou dépo-
se de la vanne déviatrice, pré-
voir l’exposition et le contact
avec le produit traité. En particu-
lier, en cas de défaut des joints
gonflables (par usure ou cas-
sure) il est possible que du pro-
duit puisse se trouver aussi à
l’intérieur du corps de la vanne
déviatrice. L’opérateur doit se
doter d’équipements de protec-
tion individuelle et notamment uti-
liser des masques de protection
des voies respiratoires de clas-
se appropriée en fonction du
type de poudre traitée, ainsi que
des gants ou des vêtements.
Pour plus de détails il est fait ren-
voi à la section concernée dans
le manuel d’utilisation (Man.
VAR, Chap.2 Sect. « AVERTIS-
SEMENTS » et « ENTRETIEN »).
L’installateur doit prévoir les
panneaux signalant à l’opé-
rateur l’obligation d’utiliser
les E.P.I. appropriés ainsi que
la présence de substances
nocives.
