If the overload has tripped, allow the pump to cool. If the switch is defective, adjust the float or replace the switch. In the event of a defective motor, consider replacing the pump. Also, check that the float is in the correct position.

      If your Water Ace Water Pump motor hums but the flow is reduced or nonexistent, there might be a few reasons. The impeller could be jammed; unplug the pump and unclog it. Also, the check valve might be plugged; unplug the pump and unclog it. The screen might be blocked; unplug the pump and clean the screen. There might be a line leak; unplug the pump and repair it. A worn impeller could be the cause; unplug the pump and replace the pump. The motor might be defective; unplug the pump and replace the pump. Also, the anti-airlock hole could be plugged; turn off the pump for a few seconds, clean out the anti-airlock hole and restart the pump.
