5. Refer to Table 8-1 to determine the approximate amount of water to drain from the heat
exchanger.
IMPORTANT!
The De-Scaling Solution used must be compatible with wetted materials of stainless steel,
copper, brass and bronze. AERCO recommends creating a cleaning solution of Rydlyme
Chemical Descaler (from Apex Engineering Products Corp.) and water. Contact Apex
Engineering Products to obtain this product and instructions for its use.
