Wait at least 1 minute. Turn burner control knobs to “OFF”. Reconnect the regulator to the cylinder. Then, turn the cylinder valve on slowly. Refer to “Lighting Instructions”. Why is the flame low on my Weber Genesis S-320 burner in the 'HI' position?
    • B
      Bryan WhiteAug 12, 2025
Refill the LP cylinder if the LP fuel is low or empty. Straighten the fuel hose if it is bent or kinked. If you can light Burner 1 with a match, then check the Crossover® ignition system. The burner may not light, or the flame may be low in the “HI” position because the LP fuel is low or empty, the fuel hose is bent or kinked, or Burner 1 lights with a match.

How to fix erratic flame pattern on Weber Genesis S-320?
    • E
      Edwin PriceAug 18, 2025
Clean the burners. The burner flame pattern may be erratic, the flame may be low when the burner is on “HI”, or the flames may not run the whole length of the burner tube because the burners are not clean.

How to prevent flare-ups on my Weber Grill?
    • A
      Alexis KaneAug 25, 2025
To address flare-ups, ensure you preheat the Weber Grill with all burners on HI for 10 to 15 minutes. Also, thoroughly clean cooking grates and Flavorizer® bars if they're heavily coated with burned-on grease. Clean the bottom tray to ensure grease can flow into the catch pan. Flare-ups can occur if you are not preheating the barbecue in the prescribed manner, if the cooking grates and Flavorizer® bars are heavily coated with burned-on grease, or if the bottom tray is dirty and not allowing grease to flow into the catch pan.
