1. Do not store or use gasoline or other

flammable liquids or vapors in the

vicinity of this or any other appliance.

2. An LP cylinder not connected for use

shall not be stored in the vicinity of this

or any other appliance.

If you smell gas:

1. Shut off gas to the appliance.

2. Extinguish any open flames.

3. Open lid.

4. If odor continues, keep away from the

appliance and immediately call your gas

supplier or your fire department.

Leaking gas may cause a fire or explosion

which can cause serious bodily injury or

death, or damage to property.

What to do if Weber Q 300 Grill burners won't light or have a low flame?

  If the burners on your Weber Grill do not light, have a small flickering flame on HIGH, or the grill temperature only reaches 250°F to 300°F on HIGH, the excess flow safety device may have been activated. To reset it, turn all burner control knobs and the cylinder valve OFF. Disconnect the regulator from the cylinder. Turn burner control knobs to HIGH and wait at least 1 minute, then turn them OFF. Reconnect the regulator to the cylinder. Finally, turn the cylinder valve on slowly, and refer to the lighting instructions.

  If the burner on your Weber Grill does not light or the flame is low in the HIGH position, first, check if your LP fuel is low or empty and refill the LP cylinder. Next, see if the fuel hose is bent or kinked and straighten it. If you can light the outside burner with a match, then check the ignition system.

  If the inside of your Weber Grill lid appears to be peeling, it's likely baked-on grease that has turned to carbon and is flaking off. This is not a defect, as the lid is cast aluminum, not paint. Clean the lid thoroughly.

  If the burner flame pattern on your Weber Grill is erratic, the flame is low when the burner is on HIGH, or the flames do not run the whole length of the burner tube, make sure that you clean the burners.

  If the Weber Grill Out™ Handle Light does not light, try the following: * Replace the batteries if they are old. * Ensure the batteries are installed correctly by checking the assembly illustration. * Make sure the lid is in the up position with the power button ON, as the light activates when the lid is open. * Verify that the Weber Grill Out™ Handle Light is activated by pressing the power button.

  Flare-ups on your Weber Grill can occur if you're not preheating correctly—ensure all burners are on high for 10 to 15 minutes. Also, check if the cooking grates are heavily coated with burned-on grease and clean them thoroughly. Finally, inspect the bottom tray to ensure it's clean and allows grease to flow into the catch pan.
