What to do if Weber Grill burners won't ignite?
    • K
      Kristen SmithJul 29, 2025
If the burners on your Weber Grill won't ignite, have a small flickering flame on high, or the grill temperature only reaches 250° to 300° on high, the excess flow safety device may have been activated. To reset it, follow these steps: 1. Close the LP tank valve. 2. Turn all burner control knobs to the OFF position. 3. Open the grill lid. 4. Slowly turn the LP tank valve until it is completely open. 5. Wait at least one minute, then ignite your grill.

Why Weber Grill burner won't light?
    • M
      Melissa PadillaAug 2, 2025
If the burner on your Weber Grill doesn't light or the flame is low in the HI position, it could be due to a few reasons: * The LP fuel may be low or empty. Refill the LP cylinder. * The fuel hose may be bent or kinked. Straighten the fuel hose. If you can light the outside burner with a match, check the ignition system.
