What to do if Weber Grill burner won't light or flame is low?
    • C
      cooperedwardJul 26, 2025
First, check if the LP fuel is low or empty and refill the LP cylinder if needed. Make sure the fuel hose isn't bent or kinked; straighten it if it is. Also, clean the burners. Ensure you hold the control knob in for two seconds after snapping the igniter and seeing the orange flame from the burner lighting tube. You can also try manually lighting the burner. If problems persist, call customer service.

How to stop flare-ups on my Weber Summit 420?
    • B
      Blake MontesJul 31, 2025
Flare-ups can occur if all burners are on HI for 10 to 15 minutes for preheating. Also, if the cooking grates and Flavorizer® bars are heavily coated with burned-on grease, clean them thoroughly. Another cause can be a dirty bottom tray that is not allowing grease to flow into the catch pan, so clean the bottom tray.

Why is the inside of my Weber Summit 420 lid peeling?
    • J
      Joy HartAug 5, 2025
The lid is porcelain enamel or stainless steel, not paint, so it cannot peel. The peeling appearance is baked-on grease that has turned to carbon and is flaking off. This is not a defect, so clean it thoroughly.

Why is the flame pattern erratic on my Weber Summit 420 Grill burner?
    • U
      umartinezAug 10, 2025
An erratic flame pattern, low flame when the burner is on HI, or flames not running the whole length of the burner tube indicates that the burners need to be cleaned.
