What causes IGBT High Temperature in WEG DC Drives?
- BBriana WarrenAug 31, 2025
If your WEG DC drive is showing an IGBT High Temperature alarm (A050), it could be due to several reasons: * The surrounding air temperature is too high (greater than 45 °C or 113 °F). * The output current is too high. * The heatsink fan is blocked or defective. * The inverter heatsink is completely covered with dust. Ensure proper cooling and check for blockages in the heatsink fan.
