3.2 Installing the printer driver
The printer driver supports Windows
®
2000, XP,
Vista and Windows
®

The driver is included on the accompanying CD. It
can also be downloaded at www.weidmueller.com
You must first uninstall any existing driver
before installing a newer version of the
driver. Turn on the printer before installa-
tion!
1 Select "Start" -> "Settings" -> "Printer & Fax ma-
chines" -> "Add printer".
2 Select either a "network printer" or a "local
printer".
3 Select the corresponding port (for example, LPT1
for a parallel connection).
4 Then select the drive and directory where the
printer driver file can be found.
5 Select your printer model (THM Basic 300) and
follow the additional instructions.

PRO labelling soft-
ware
The powerful M-Print
®
PRO software package is in-
cluded with each THM Basic 300 printer.
The program is located on the accompanying CD.
Program updates can be downloaded from
www.weidmueller.com when needed.
Run the start-up wizard on the CD and follow the in-
stallation instructions.
