6. Troubleshooting
6.1 Error messages
Errors and malfunctions are displayed by one or several flashing LEDs.
Possible cause Remedy Comment
Check the label guide.
Check the position of the
label sensor.
The label gaps or sheen
markings are not recog-
nized.
Calibrate the label sensor.
Check your software
settings if you are us-
ing continuous-feed
print materials.
The label roll is finished. Insert new labels.
There is a label blockage. Clear the blockage.
The READY and
MEDIA LED are
flashing at the same
time.
The labels are not being
detected correctly.
Replace the label sensor.
The ribbon roll is finished. Insert a new ribbon.
There is a ribbon blockage. Clear the blockage.
The READY and
RIBBON LED are
flashing at the same
time.
The film is not being de-
tected properly.
Replace the ribbon sen-
sor.
This should only be
carried out by a ser-
vice technician.
There is a serial interface
error.
Check the baud rate and
DIP switch settings.
Restart the printer.
The READY LED is
flashing.
A memory overflow has oc-
curred.
Reset the printer.
