3.4 Activate exchange mode
In the CHAN menu entry, you can configure a therapy device as an
exchange device. Once you have activated CHAn 1, CArd flashes in
the display and the therapy device cannot be switched on. The
patient needs to put in the SD card from his previous therapy
device. The therapy device automatically adopts the settings of the
previous therapy device.
• If you are unable to activate exchange mode, take the
SD card out of the device and call up the Physician
menu again. The setting can now be adjusted.
• In exchange mode, the therapy device automatically
creates a backup file containing the previous therapy
data on the SD card from the previous therapy device.
This file can be read by WEINMANNsupport.
• If exchange mode is activated, the therapy device
cannot be switched on.
• Exchange mode can be deactivated again via the
Physician menu if it has been activated inadvertently.
