THERE ARE TWO PRIMARY METHODS FOR SECURING THE
SPM
®
FSR MAIN LINES AND SPM
®
FSR ANCHOR LINES:
LOOPING
Looping the SPM
®
FSR Spine around the anchor point, then
back through itself (Note: tying off to an anchor point is never
acceptable).
“C” SHACKLE
Looping the SPM
®
FSR Spine around the anchor point, then
utilizing an anchor shackle to secure the end back to the SPM
®
FSR
Spine.
*CAUTION: Sharp edges should always be avoided in all SPM
®
FSR installations. When connecting to a rig/trailer frame or
undercarriage, make certain that these surfaces are smooth and do
not have sharp edges. Never loop or shackle restraints to pressure
lines as an anchor point.
