7.2 Modbus
7.2.1 Modbus output data to Fieldbus module
Register addresses have been created in the Fieldbus module, to which the Mod-
bus can write in order to send commands to the combustion manager. A register
address always contains 16Bit. These addresses can also be read with the corres-
ponding Function-Codes [ch.7.2.2].
The defaults can be written with the following Function-Codes:
05 (0x05) Write Single Coil (Coil: Bit to Bit address x),
06 (0x06) Write Single Register (to register address)
16 (0x10) Write Multiple Registers (from register address)
Index Bit Information Description
110 0 Heat demand If the Bit is set to 1 by the master, a heat demand is
present, until the heat demand is deactivated via Bit8 in
Register110.

2 Input Plus In control mode, the burner output can be increased via the
Bit. For each step, the signal must be applied for 500 ms
and removed again.
The step size can be changed in parameter72 via the
VisionBox Software.
In oil operation, the burner changes to or remains in stage
2.
3 Input Minus In control mode, the burner output can be decreased via
the Bit. For each step, the signal must be applied for 500
ms and removed again.
The step size can be changed in parameter72 via the
VisionBox Software.
In oil operation, the burner changes to or remains in stage
1.

5 OutputB4 switches (if para-
meter110 is set to 247)
Output B4 can be switched on and off. Prerequisite is that
parameter110 is configured to 24.
6 Remote reset (if parameter 269
set to 1)
If the Bit is set to 1 by the Master, and only reset to 0 after
0.5s, the combustion manager is reset.
If the Bit is held on 1 for more than 5s, the combustion
manager is not reset.
To be able to utilise Bus remote reset, parameter269 must
be set to 1.
7 not used
8 Deactivate heat demand Deactivates heat demand via Bus (Bit 0 in Register 110).
9 not used
10 Modulation default LS-Bit Activates the modulation default:
Bit 10 = 0, Bit 11 = 0: controller (T6/T7/T8)
Bit 10 = 1, Bit 11 = 0: Inputs Plus/Minus in Re-
gister110
Bit 10 = 0, Bit 11 = 1: degree of modulation in % in Re-
gister111
Bit 10 = 1, Bit 11 = 1: degree of modulation in 0.01 %
in Register111
11 Modulation default MS-Bit
12 … 15 not used
