Operating the blood pressure monitor
Inserting the batteries
After you unpack your monitor, insert the batteries. The battery
compartment is located on the back of the monitor (see
illustration).
1. Open cover as illustrated.
2. Insert the batteries (4 AA, 1.5V), observing the correct polarity.
Attention!
• If the battery warning
symbol appears (as shown
in the diagram ), the monitor
is unusable until the
batteries have been
replaced.
• Use AA long-life or alkaline
1.5V batteries. The use of
rechargeable batteries is not recommended.
• If the blood pressure monitor is left unused for long periods,
remove the batteries from the device.
