5. Use a pair of pliers to remove the broken part of the
spark plug boot from the spark plug. Pull it outwards,
away from the engine.
6. Make sure the ignition coil is easily accessible.
7. Use one hand to hold the ignition coil wiring steady.
Twist the spark plug boot off the ignition coil
(counterclockwise).
8. Twist the new spark plug boot onto the ignition coil
(clockwise) until it is tight. While holding the wiring, tug
the spark plug boot sideways to see if it loosens. If so,
tighten the boot more. It should not move when tugged.
9. Push the boot onto the spark plug. Re-assemble the
side panel. Check to make sure the generator starts up
properly.
