Also, check the oil level, as the generator has a low oil sensor that prevents starting if the level is insufficient. Finally, the carburetor might be air locked; if so, shut off the fuel valve, remove the nut from the bottom of the carburetor to allow it to reset, then reinstall the carburetor and nut.
