Why does my Wen 56235iX Portable Generator run but not support all electrical devices?

  If your WEN Portable Generator runs but doesn't support all connected electrical devices, it might be overloaded. To resolve this, turn off and unplug all electrical devices, then turn off the generator. Wait a few minutes, restart the generator, and try connecting only a few electrical loads. Also, a short circuit in one of the devices may be the cause, so try disconnecting any potentially faulty electrical loads. Another possible reason is a dirty air filter. In this case, clean or replace the air filter element.

How to troubleshoot a Wen 56235iX that will not start?

  If your WEN Portable Generator engine won't start, several issues could be the cause. First, ensure the engine switch is set to ON. Check if the choke is closed. Make sure the engine has enough fuel and that the fuel isn't contaminated or old; if it is, drain and replace it with fresh fuel. A dirty or broken spark plug could also be the problem, so clean or replace it as needed. Finally, check the oil level, as the generator has a low oil sensor that prevents it from starting if the level is insufficient. Also, the carburetor may be air locked. To fix it, shut off the fuel valve, remove the nut from the bottom of the carburetor, take off the carburetor to allow it to reset, place the carburetor back and reinstall the nut.
