Why won't my Wen Portable Generator start?

  Your Wen Portable Generator might not start due to several reasons. First, ensure the engine switch and fuel valve are set to ON. Check if the choke is closed. If these aren't the issue, your generator might be out of or have contaminated fuel, or have low oil level. The spark plug could be dirty or broken. Another potential cause is an air-locked carburetor. Address these issues by adding fuel, draining and replacing old fuel, cleaning or replacing the spark plug, adding or replacing oil, or resetting the carburetor.

  If your Wen Portable Generator runs but provides no electrical output, the circuit breaker may have tripped due to an overload. Try disconnecting all loads, wait two minutes, and then push the circuit breaker to the ON position to reset it. Also, inspect the power and extension cords for damage, replacing them if necessary. Finally, the electrical device you're connecting might be faulty; try a different device to check.

  Your Wen Portable Generator may not support all connected devices for a few reasons. The generator might be overloaded; turn off and unplug all devices, restart the generator, and then try connecting only a few devices. A short circuit in one of the devices could also be the problem; try disconnecting potentially faulty devices. Lastly, a dirty air filter can cause this issue.
