Why won't my Wen 56877 start?

If your WEN Portable Generator's engine won't start, several factors could be at play. First, ensure the engine switch is set to the "ON" position. Next, check that the fuel valve is also in the "ON" position. If those aren't the issue, make sure the choke is closed and that the generator has an adequate supply of fresh, clean gas. A dirty or broken spark plug could also be the culprit, so inspect and clean or replace it as needed. Check if the generator is on a level surface to prevent the low oil shutdown from activating. Finally, verify the oil level and the condition of the air cleaner, addressing either as necessary. If your generator has a battery, check its charge and replace if needed.
