  If your Wen Portable Generator's engine won't start, possible causes include: * The engine switch is set to "OFF": Set the engine switch to "ON". * The fuel valve is turned to "OFF" and the choke is open: Turn the fuel valve to the "ON" position and close the choke. * The engine is out of gas: Add gas. * The engine is filled with contaminated or old gas, or the spark plug is dirty: Change the gas and clean the spark plug. * The spark plug is broken: Replace the spark plug. * The generator is not on a level surface: Move the generator to a level surface. * The oil is low: Add or replace the oil.

  If your Wen Portable Generator runs but provides no electrical output: * The circuit reset button may be off: Wait two minutes and push the circuit reset button to the "ON" position. * There may be bad connecting wires or cables: If using an extension cord, try a different one. * A bad electrical device may be connected to the generator: Try connecting a different device.

  If your Wen Portable Generator runs but doesn't support all connected devices, it could be due to: * The generator being overloaded. To resolve this: 1. Turn off all electrical devices. 2. Unplug all electrical devices. 3. Turn off the generator. 4. Wait several minutes. 5. Restart the generator. 6. Try connecting fewer electrical loads to the generator. * A short in one of the connected devices: Disconnect any faulty or short-circuited electrical loads. * A dirty air cleaner: Clean or replace the air cleaner.
