If your Weslo Treadmill turns off during use, check the circuit breaker located on the treadmill frame near the power cord. If it has tripped, wait five minutes, and then press the switch back in. Also, ensure the power cord is securely plugged in and that the key is fully reinserted into the console.

How to fix Weslo Cadence Dx5 Treadmill walking belt slipping?
    • J
      johnsonadrianAug 14, 2025
To fix a Weslo Treadmill walking belt that slips, first remove the key and unplug the power cord. Then, using the allen wrench, turn both rear roller adjustment bolts clockwise, 1/4 of a turn. The walking belt is correctly tightened when you can lift each side 5 to 7 cm (2 to 3 in.) off the walking platform. Ensure you keep the walking belt centered. Plug in the power cord, insert the key, and run the treadmill for a few minutes. Repeat until the walking belt is properly tightened. If the walking belt is overtightened, treadmill performance may decrease and the walking belt may be permanently damaged. Remove the key and unplug the power cord. Using the allen wrench, turn both rear roller adjustment bolts counterclockwise, 1/4 of a turn.
