Accessing Ice Maker and Dispenser Components
1. Complete the steps 1-11 from
instrucons .
2. Disconnect electrical connecons to ice box assembly.
3. Disconnect ice maker ll tube from water valve.
4. Locate the two 1/4" (6.4 mm) screws aaching the ice box
assembly and remove using 1/4" (6.4 mm) nut driver while
supporng ice maker.
5. Drop down the front of the ice maker assembly and slide out
to disengage the two tabs from the slots in the top of the
cabinet.
6. Remove foil ll tube heater from the ice maker ll-tube
on the ice box. Remove all wires from channel on ice box
assembly.
NOTE: Some models have a ice box fascia with fascia heater
wired through the foil ll tube heater, you may need to
remove the fascia heater wires and grommet from the ice box
cove r.
7. Use a straight blade screw driver to remove ve, 1/4"
(6.4 mm) screws securing the ice box cover to the ice box
assembly.
8. Remove ice box cover while guiding ice maker harness
through slot in ice box cover. Note lip for reassembly.
Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.
Replace all parts and panels before operating.
