  If your WhisperKool Wine Cooler is leaking water, make sure the Evaporator Unit is level on the wall. Check the drain line for clogs or kinks to ensure free water flow. Disconnect the drain and clear out any blockages, also checking the drain inside the access door. Ensure the drain line has a downward slope from the unit to the drain. If the coil is iced, melt the ice with a blow dryer and soak up the water with a towel.

  If the evaporator fan runs but the compressor doesn't in your WhisperKool Wine Cooler, the system might be in an anti-frost cycle, indicated by a dripping snowflake symbol on the control. No action is required in this case. If the system isn't maintaining the correct temperature, a dirty evaporator filter or coil could be the cause. In this case clean the filter or coil. Allow cooling system to revert back to cooling mode. If the compressor may have overheated, shut system off for 1 hour to allow compressor to cool. Turn back on and check for cooler air flow out. If compressor runs, check for and clean condenser coil as possible cause of compressor overheating. If problem repeats, contact you installing technician to assist with troubleshooting.
