5.1.2 Installing the instrument
The case is rotatable by 330°. When rotating do not touch the display.
When screwing in the instrument, the force required to do this must not be applied
through the case, but only through the spanner flats provided for this purpose and
using a suitable tool.
The correct torque depends on the dimensions of the process connection and the
sealing used (form/material).
This permitted torque must NEVER be exceeded.
When screwing in, do not cross the threads.
Make sure the process connections are clean and undamaged.
Assemble mounting, test and calibration installations once the system has been
depressurised (atmospheric).
Install the instrument in such a way that process-related electrostatic charges (e.g.
caused by flowing media) can be excluded.
CAUTION!
Damage to the instrument caused by exceeding the measuring range
By exceeding the measuring range, the internal sensor may be damaged.
The message “OL or “-OL“ is displayed.
If the message “OL or “-OL is displayed, remove the pressure
source immediately from the instrument.
For information on tapped holes, see technical information IN 00.14 at
www.wika.com.
