Mounting the CPG1500
1. Seal the sealing faces.
2. Screw the precision digital pressure gauge hand-tight into the mounting location.
When screwing in, do not cross the threads.
3. Tighten with a torque wrench using the spanner flats.
The maximum torque of the CPG1500 is 13.5 Nm = 10 ftlbs.
5.2 Battery handling
The instrument is operated with 3 x AA 1.5 V batteries. Batteries are always included in
delivery.
Before the instrument can be operated with batteries, they must be inserted.
Only use the listed batteries, see table 8.2.1 “Permitted batteries”.
Do not use any rechargeable batteries.
When using batteries other than those included in the scope of delivery,
check whether the specified ambient conditions of the battery match
those of the instrument. Restrictions may occur due to the operating
conditions of the battery.
Due to different discharge curves, the battery status display may not
match the actual battery status display.
Damage to the instrument
To avoid possible damage to CPG1500 or to test equipment, note the following:
Always replace all three batteries together. Avoid mixing up old and new batteries.
Do not use any rechargeable batteries.
The battery cover must be closed and secured via three screws.
Ensure the correct polarity.
NEVER mix batteries and rechargeable batteries with each other.
Make sure your hands are dry when inserting or replacing the batteries.
