5.3 Instrument operation/Basic functions
5.3.1 Switching on/off

Press and hold the [On/Off] button to switch on the precision digital pressure gauge.

Press and hold the button again to switch it off.
Leave approx. 5 seconds between switching off and switching on so that the internal
sensor has enough time to shut down.
After switching on, the start-up screen with pressure range and firmware version is
shown on the display for approx. 3 seconds.
5.3.2 Zero point adjustment
Zeroing the indication value to 0

Press the [ZERO/▲] button.
For gauge pressure measuring ranges, the CPG1500 must be set to 0 with the
[ZERO/▲] button before each use.
5.3.3 MAX/MIN
The CPG1500 stores the minimum and maximum pressure in the memory.
These values can be activated under “Menu” / “Measure mode” / “Peak values” and
displayed in the matrix field. It is also possible to delete the values.
