What to do if my Windsor Scrubber has poor water pickup?
    • B
      brookesandovalJul 30, 2025
If your Windsor Scrubber isn't picking up water effectively, there could be several reasons. Start by checking the squeegee for any debris and remove it. Inspect the squeegee blades for wear; rotate or replace them if needed. Ensure the vacuum hose isn't clogged by clearing any obstructions. Verify the vacuum hose is properly connected to both the squeegee and the recovery tank dome. A dirty recovery tank float system can also cause issues, so clean it thoroughly. Make sure the recovery tank is sealed correctly by latching the lid and replacing any damaged gaskets. If the tank is full, the float-ball shut-off might be engaged, so empty the recovery tank. Finally, if foam is filling the recovery tank, empty it and consider using less detergent, a different detergent, or a defoamer.

If your Windsor Scrubber has no power, begin by checking all battery cable connections to ensure they are secure. Verify that the emergency shut-off is not activated; if it is, reset it. Inspect the battery cables for corrosion and clean them if necessary. A faulty key switch could also be the culprit, requiring replacement. Ensure the on-board charger is unplugged and stowed. Finally, check the main circuit breaker and reset it if it has tripped.
