Connect the mini coax cable
to the “Antenna In” coax port
on the TV.
Run a channel scan. (For a listing
of likely channels available in your area, go
online to www.winegard.com/localchannels.)
If not satisfied with the number of channels found, try re-positioning the
antenna. Moving the antenna three feet in one direction is often enough
to change the reception. Then, re-run a channel scan.

What to do if the picture freezes on Winegard TV Antenna?
    • J
      jeanettelambertJul 26, 2025
If the picture or sound freezes, or you see boxes in the picture while watching a channel on your Winegard TV Antenna, it's often due to a weak or intermittent signal. Try relocating the antenna to a better spot or aiming it directly at the broadcast tower for that channel.

If one channel is missing on your Winegard TV Antenna, try turning the antenna 10 or 20 degrees in either direction to optimize the signal and avoid reflection, or try moving the antenna to a new location. You can also try running a new channel scan on the TV. Refer to the channel scan insert for more information.
