Problem Troubleshooting measure
Cannot lock the pad
cartridge.
Has the coffee pad been incorrectly inserted (see Fig. 3)?
>C
heck to see whether the coffee pad has been correctly inserted into the pad
cartridge
.
>When using 2 coffee pads, press the lower one into the recess.
> Press on the coffee pad so that there is a small recess in the middle of it.
Coffee strength is not
sufcient.
Has the coffee pad been incorrectly inserted (see Fig. 3)?
> Check to see whether the coffee pad has been correctly inserted into the pad
cartridge
.
Cups left and right are filled
unevenly.
Minor differences in filling levels are impossible to avoid entirely. The machine's
performance improves with extended use.
Is the installation surface flat?
> Place the coffee pad machine onto a level installation surface.
Filling quantity is gradually
getting smaller and smaller.
Always turn the adjusting knob
B to the right as far as possible.
> At regular intervals, check that the central opening of the pad cartridge is free
to avoid blockages.
> Descale the coffee pad machine in good time.
> Check to ensure that the suction cap is fitted securely to the floor of the water
tank. The suction cap still needs to be fitted securely even if you are not using a
water filter.
> Perform a rinse to remove air underneath the suction cap.
Coffee does not have any
crema.
The coffee pad machine starts producing optimal quality of its crema once you have
used it a few times.
Does the strainer need descaling?
> Please read Section 5.3.1 “Coffee dispensing cartridge with strainer” on page21
> Clean and descale the strainer at regular intervals.
