3.2.2 Preparing small and large coffees
You can choose between a small or a large coffee.
You can also choose between
- one cup
- two cups at the same time (“Dual cup function”)
- one custom size cup (“Teach-in programming”)
If you want to make a small coffee, you first need to preheat the cup. To do so, you can allow a little hot
water to flow into the cup you have made ready for use, as described in section 3.4 on page 17.
> Place a cup in the centre underneath the two coffee spouts.
> Wait until the ready indicator F lights up white.
> Press the G button for a large coffee or E for a small coffee.
The cup is filled with the appropriate amount.
Place the two cups underneath the coffee spouts right next to each other.
> Wait until the ready indicator F lights up white.
> Press the x2 button D.
It lights up white for 5 seconds
> During this time, press the G button for a large coffee or E for a small coffee.
Both cups will be filled with the appropriate amount.
Use the teach-in function to change the filling quantities to your personal needs. For the small coffee,
you can set a filling quantity of up to around 120 ml and around 165 ml for the large coffee. Coffee
quantities less than 50 ml do not produce a satisfactorily tasting coffee.
> Place a cup of any size in the centre underneath the two coffee spouts.
